ORLYANKA CHAMPIONS is a leadership club created by Orlyanka TANTCHOU, Co-Founder of NO LIMIT INTERNATIONAL with the vision of inspiring and empowering high school girls to:

  • -Stay in school
  • -Dream
  • – Have a voice
  • – Be decision makers 
  • – Be confident 
  • – Become impactful leaders tomorrow in their communities. 

In fact, the purpose of the leadership club is to groom the next generation of female leaders capable of breaking the glass ceiling in their respective future career fields. 

During the week of February 1 – 4, 2022, a total of 28 girls were selected in four colleges in Yaounde, Cameroon including: College Marie-Albert, COPES Bilingual Technical Complex, Father MONTI Bilingual College, and Government Bilingual Technical High School of Nkolbisson. During the ceremony, Orlyanka TANTCHOU distributed books to the young girls as a symbolic sign of sisterhood and intellectual curiosity.At each venue, the founder of the club, Miss Orlyanka TANTCHOU gave a speech presenting the objectives of the club to the attentive audience.

“Today is a great day; today is the day where we can dream together as sisters to take ourselves to another level. As much as I will mentor you, I would like to also learn from you along the way. Don’t be afraid to voice your opinion or make mistakes; we learn from our mistakes and become better role models for our younger sisters to not make the same mistakes. You are the future and your pathway to leadership starts now. To be the next generation of female leaders, you must be ambitious, driven, and surrounded by a selective group of peers and mentors that can instill confidence and encouragement throughout your journey. We will have monthly virtual meetings where you will be encouraged to speak up and gain interests in STEM fields where women are traditionally underrepresented. I see in this room, future CEOs, astronauts, pilots, engineers, mathematicians, scientists, and inventors that can reimagine our future. Today is a new day; let’s be the engines of sustainable development for ourselves and girls that are voiceless“, Orlyanka TANTCHOU. 

The schools officials at the different colleges were moved by the solemnity of the ceremony and promised to facilitate the club meetings and schedules. The students selected in the “ORLYANKA CHAMPIONS” club were also very happy and humbled by the opportunity. “With this leadership club, I hope to make my dream come true of becoming a Medical Doctor” said Miss Claudia in Lower Sixth Science at COPES while another student at College Pere MONTI, Miss ASONGANYI said “I would like to thank the founder for this initiative because girls tend to be marginalized and this is an opportunity for us to shine”.

One of our objectives at NO LIMIT INTERNATIONAL is to promote gender equality, which is essential for economic prosperity. Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier. Gender equality is not only a fundamental right but the foundation to sustainable development in our communities. By empowering young girls and aiming for excellence through the leadership club created by Orlyanka TANTCHOU, the non-profit organization contributes to sustainable livelihoods where all humans are equal with the same rights and opportunities.
